Through his work at Pelco, Mr. Schafer said he has come to realize that video security is not only important in protecting people and business, as well as reducing fraud and theft—video security can be a strategic weapon for customers in providing important new enabling technologies to improve business operations and deliver important value.

Before coming Pelco, Mr. Schafer was the Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Services for the Reynolds and Reynolds Company.  Reynolds and Reynolds is the leading computer systems and software provider to the automotive retail and OEM market.  Scott Schafer held a number of senior management positions at NCR Corporation in general management, marketing management and field sales management in NCR’s computer systems, software, networking and services business. Mr. Schafer said that working in these positions has helped him to gain an understanding of what it means to be truly customer focused and the importance of that component in succeeding in today’s global business environment.
